The new Stella & Dot summer collection is so. cute. Shop my favorite pieces from the collection and get summer style ideas.
I’m hosting my first Stella & Dot party this weekend!
After Stella & Dot stylist Marni Smith styled my sister, Kaitlin, for her Big Fat TODAY Wedding on the TODAY Show, she fell in love with the company and the pieces and decided to become a stylist. Of course, I had to host a trunk show as soon as I found out.
This comes at the perfect time, too, since I just moved into a new apartment this month, so the trunk show is the perfect excuse to have a few friends over to shop the collection, see the new apartment and have a glass of wine.
In preparation, I’ve been scoping out the brand new summer collection—which launched earlier this month—and picking out my favorite pieces.
These are my picks from the new launch.
1. Mirage Pendant Necklace, $79
Long layering pieces are my go-tos (the Rebel Pendant is a long-time fave), and this one with chain tassels is so fun for summer. Inspired by the patterns of Mexican papel picado (perforated paper), this vintage gold piece gives off an understated tribal look. Perfect for styling a festival look or adding a touch of glam to a casual dress or tank.
2. Nolita Small Crossbody – Raffia Fringe, $69
This raffia crossbody just looks like vacation. This tribal-inspired compact wallet with a removable strap is so perfect for a weekend at the beach, or even just to add a beachy vibe to a summer nighttime look. Style it with a black maxi dress or a white romper with gold accessories.
3. Palm Springs Sunglasses Case, $22
This print is EVERYWHERE this summer—why not stow your sunnies in it too? This hard case will keep your sunglasses safe at the pool or beach, or toss it in your tote if you’re traveling. It also comes with a printed lens cloth to keep glasses clean. Fill them with my favorite new sunglasses from the summer collection: the Gold Chevron Aviators ($98).
4. Reversible Voyage Tote – Chambray/Mint, $79
Whether you’re toting a baby or a cocktail, this wipeable coated canvas tote is a summer essential for the beach. Bonus: it’s reversible, so you can choose from two different looks. This bag would also be great for traveling—take it straight from the airport to the pool.
5. Pavé Triangle Path Ear Climbers, $39
Ear climbers have to be one of the top trends in accessories this year, and these pavé ear climbers are subtle enough for work but cool enough for going out or for a concert. Kaitlin’s sister-in-law, Kristen, even wore them for the wedding and they looked so gorgeous with her bridesmaid dress! They’re available in both silver and gold. (These are sold out currently, but the ear jackets are just as cute and can be worn six ways!)
